Jul 26, 1938 – Aug 21, 2013

Racine – Alan Frank Parenteau, 75, passed away at WFH-All Saints on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.  He was born in Racine on July 26, 1938, son of the late Francis and Pauline (nee: Marrier) Parenteau.

Al spent much of his time up north in the Fox Lake area where he enjoyed yard work, cutting grass, or just watching the wildlife on his son's 80 acres. Al was a great man and will be dearly missed by his entire family, his 4-legged grandchildren, and all who knew him.

Al Leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Jesse (Karen) Parenteau of Fox Lake, Jacque (Ron) Jorgensen, Jeri Parenteau, Jeanne (John) Parker, Jamie (Jim) Miller, Joi (Mike) Brill, all of Racine;   grandchildren, Terry (Stephanie), Jennifer, Maggie (Chris), Anthony, Amber, Regina, Rebecca, Mathew, Jack, Blake, Ashley, Taylor, Christian; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Shane, Sierra, Kai, Kaylee, Connor, Dalton, Dru.

Al is preceded in death by his former wife, Margo Parenteau; grandchildren, Jessica, Shane; and sister, Phyllis Vash.

A memorial celebration of Al's life will take place on Friday, September 6, 2013, 4pm – 7pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road. Memorials have been suggested to the family.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

My family and I would like to thank you and your staff for making our father\’s funeral a beautiful celebration of his life. So many people commented that it was the best funeral they had ever attended! We can\’t say enough about Mark Langendorf\’s professionalism, his attention to detail, and ensuring that my father\’s funeral went smoothly from start to finish. After the funeral, he was always available for any questions and concerns my mother had. He handled all post-funeral details. Our dad would be very happy to know it went so well.Thank you so much, Mark.
