Alfred H. Winckler, 84, passed away at his residence on Saturday, October 29, 2011. He was born in North Dakota on January 17, 1927 the son of the late Henry and Lydia (nee: Haun) Winckler. Mr. Winckler served his country with U.S. Navy submarine service. He had been employed by Topps Metals for many years.
He is survived by his daughters, Debra Weinstock, of Sturtevant, and Della Wait, of Pittsboro, NC; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and his brothers and sisters.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. next Sunday, Nov. 13th, at the family residence, 3422- 92nd St. Sturtevant. Private entombment will be held in the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Park.
