RACINE – Allen F. Horn, 62, passed away at the Bay at Waters Edge in Kenosha on February 2, 2020.

A lifelong resident of Racine, Allen was born on January 31, 1958, the son of the late Frederick Van and Violetta Germaine (nee: Koltes) Horn.

On May 21, 1982 he married the love of his life, Phylis Jean Veselik.

Allen worked many years in automotive parts for various companies in Racine.  He enjoyed the outdoors fishing and golfing.  He was also an avid Packers fan and loved watching sports and westerns on television.

In addition to his wife, Phylis, Allen is survived by his daughter, Christine Horn; his son, Stephen Horn; his grandson, Jayden Schultz; his brothers and sisters, Lester (Oyun) Horn, Barbara Bartel, Sandy Dumas, Frederick (Cindy) Horn; Suzie Hanko and Paula Jorgensen; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Philip and Delores Veselik; his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Cheryl (Frank) Langel, Sue (Daniel) Brieschke, Robert Veselik; as well as many dear nieces and nephews. Allen was also preceded in death by his step-father, Alan Starr.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Home and Crematory on Sunday, February 9, 2020 for a visitation from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.  A service celebrating and remembering Allen’s life will follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family have been suggested.
