
Anna E. Watson, 91, was called Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 20, 2010. She was born in Springfield, IL on December 24, 1918 the daughter of the late Thomas and Della (nee: Jackson) Banks. Mrs. Watson lived most of her life in Springfield where she was employed by the Nelch family. After moving to Racine she joined Wayman A.M.E. Church. Mrs. Watson leaves to cherish he memory, her son, Raymond Killion, of Racine; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Edith Haley, of Springfield, IL, brother-in-law, Joseph Powell, of Racine; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Annabelle Banks, both of Springfield, IL. Her loving nieces and nephews further survive her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald Killion, her husband, Elmer “Tuffy” Watson, and 8 siblings, including Mary Powell. Her Homegoing Service was held on Friday, March 26, 2010 in the chapel of West Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Charlene B. Mills officiating.
