Antonio Mondell Hood

Nov 7, 1970 – Apr 29, 2013

Antonio M. Hood, age 42, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2013, at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Hospital, in Racine, WI.  Tony was born in Racine, WI, on November 7, 1970, to Clenton Williams and the late Betty Jean Hood.  At 17 years of age, while attending J.I. Case high school, Tony was diagnosed with an illness that would affect him for the rest of his life.  Although, he faced many trials in life, Tony always remained optimistic.  He enjoyed passing the time away with close friends, playing dominoes, pity pat and shooting darts, in which he was a fierce competitor.   All of his life, Tony remained positive and continued to be cheerful.  No matter what was going on in his life he always had a joke or funny comment to make about it.  The times Tony cherished most were the times he spent with his beautiful children and his family. Tony leaves behind to cherish his memories, his beautiful daughters; Jenessa, Diamond, Crystal and Antoinette, a beautiful granddaughter; Raytavia A Grigsby, brother; Gregory (Denise) Jacob, sisters; Michelle Poole and Trudy (Alfonso) Hood, as well as a host of uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews ,cousins and many other loving relatives and friends.  Antonio had three special friends that he loved to hang out and talk with, Tony Parham, John Torres and Christine Torres.  Antonio was preceded in death by his Mother Betty Jean Hood and Grandparents, Henry and Elmer Tyler Sr.

Tony loved people and his favorite saying to everyone was "Hey Monkey"!  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial celebration will be held on Friday, May 3,2013 at 10:00AM, Zoe Outreach Ministries, Racine St in Racine, WI. The Pastor is Pastor Melvin D. Hargrove and Rev. Alfred D. Smith Jr. will be doing the eulogy.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

We would like to personally thank Brian for what a warm, compassionate funeral you arranged. You always put our thoughts first and answered and responded to my many phone calls about everything. The artistry of the belongings of our son was amazing. Everything was so beautiful. So many people complimented on how the arrangement was set up by you. We as a family will never forget what you did for us in our time of need. Thank you very much Brian.
