Arlene was greeted and then escorted into heaven by her husband, Rudy Smithkey; and her son, Randy Smithkey. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Fred Schmidt, Jr.; sister, Betty Kenth; great-granddaughter, Makenzie Jade; and nephew, Jeff Forbes.

Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2012 with Pastor Scott Brownell officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2012.

We extend our thanks and gratitude to everyone on the staff of Wheaton Hospice, and All Saints hospital for the loving care and concern given to Arlene and her family.
