She graced us with her presence for only 4 months and three days, and on March 21, 2012 Azarie Larie Thomas earned her wings and is now asleep in the arms of the Lord. Azarie was born on November 18, 2011 with great joy and Love to Melissa Ann Thomas.
Azarie is survived by her Mother, Melissa Ann Thomas and close friend Jim “Papa Jim” Wolter; father, Derrick Bradley; sister and brother, Cedmony and Damarion Bradley; Maternal Grandfather, Larry Dyson; paternal grandmother, Deeanna Bradley; loving aunts who were always there for Azarie,Molly Thomas, Michele Thomas and close friend Robert Harrell; cousin, Nariyah Williams; as well as a host of loving relatives and friends. Azarie was also met at Heaven’s gate by her maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Thomas.
Azarie was our Special Angel. She loved to be cuddled and held and would look at you with those beautiful brown eyes. Her smile was contagious. She enjoyed her first walk outside with her Family and the feel of fresh warm air. Her aunties dressed her so pretty with her pink hairbands and pretty little outfits…she was quite the Diva. She was very amused and found her baby videos very comforting and entertaining. The soft music would put her to sleep. Azarie touched many lives and will be missed by all in the short time she was with us.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Committal services will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Please visit with the family in the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m.
