Barbara Jean Kisel

Sep 14, 1927 – Jul 11, 2010

Mrs. Barbara Jean Kisel, 82, died at WFH- All Saints on Sunday, July 11, 2010.

   She was born in Ferguson, MO on September 14, 1927.  She lived in Hannibal, MO until moving to Racine in 1973.  On February 20, 1950, she married John Kisel.  He preceded her in death on October 28, 1983.

   Mrs. Kisel worked for Vocational Rehabilitation in Hannibal and Twin Disc in Racine.  She was a longtime member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. 

   Her survivors include her daughters, Marsha (Ed) Doolan of New Berlin, WI, Jane (Bob) Folkrod of Libertyville, IL; grandchildren, Ryan Doolan of Minneapolis, MN, Kelly Doolan of New Berlin, WI, Grant Arneson; her step grandchildren, Brook Anne and John Folkrod all of Libertyville, IL and her grand-dog, Sydney. In addition to her husband John, Mrs. Kisel was preceded in death by her mother, Aileen (nee: Bonnell) Ford.

   Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. for a service celebrating Barbara’s life.  There will be time to meet with the family on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m.  Her burial will take place next to her husband at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO on Friday, July 16th at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to attend may meet in the parking lot of the Grand View Funeral Home at 10:45 a.m. where we will process to her grave.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara’s name have been suggested to a charity of one’s choice.
