Bernadine M. Kenyon

Jun 30, 1931 – Jan 8, 2012

     Bernadine M. Kenyon, 80, passed away in WFH-All Saints on Sunday, January 8, 2012. She was born in Sparta, WI on June 30, 1931, the daughter of the late Millard and Mae (nee: Aney) Hanson.

     Mrs. Kenyon had been employed by the Concord Apartments for over 15 years. After her retirement from the Concord Apartments she worked at Dickie’s Bar. She enjoyed playing Bingo and cards, shopping with her daughters, and spending quality time with her family.

     Surviving are her husband, Henry; their children, Robert (Carla) Kenyon, Elmer (Tamie) Kenyon, Rose Storheim, Linda Kenyon, and Michael (Debra) Kenyon, all of Racine; foster sons, Jeff (Sally) LaFaive, of Peoria, AZ, and Ronald (Peggy) LaFaive, of Marshfield, WI; 15 grandchildren, Cathy Calkins, Scott Kenyon, Nikki Mueller, Patrick Kenyon, Jeremy Kenyon, Kim Baclawski, Sandy Lehman, Michelle Yates, Michael Melnik, Paul Melnik, Carrie Melnik, Michael Kenyon, Megan Peterson, Tony Kenyon, and Amanda LaFaive ; 19 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Elmer Hanson, of La Crosse, and Roger (Melba) Hanson, of On Alaska, WI. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kenyon was preceded in death by her son, Richard; brother, Herbert, and 2 sisters, Dolores and Muriel.

    Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, January 13th at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Christine Thomas- Echelbarger officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Private entombment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
