Beverly Sondergaard Manderfield

Jan 28, 1936 – Sep 14, 2012

DENVER, CO (FORMERLY OF RACINE) – Mrs. Beverley Jeanne Sondergaard Manderfield, 76, passed away at her daughter’s residence in Denver on Friday, September 14, 2012.

   She was born in Racine on January 28, 1936, the daughter of the late John and Mary (nee: Langdon) Ager.  In 1954 Beverley married Jorgen “Jack” Bernhardt Sondergaard.  He preceded her in death in 1976.  In 1979 she married George “Ed” Manderfield.  He preceded her in death in 2009.

   Beverley retired from Ace Stamping as the plant manager.  While living in Racine she attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church until her health declined. 

   She is survived by children, Jacqueline Sondergaard of Denver, Mark (Susan) Sondergaard of Englewood, CO, Jerome Sondergaard of Racine; her step-children, Cary (Kim) Manderfield, Shelley (Tim) Christensen, Stacy Manderfield all of Racine, Kelly (Jackie) Manderfield of the Philippines; her brother and sister, Donald (Meg) Ager of Hillsborough, New Hampshire, Carolyn (Harry) Hackler of Madison; many dear grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husbands, Beverley was preceded in death by her son, Scott Sondergaard; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Richard Decorah; step-son, Tracy Manderfield and step-daughter, Tary Ann Ludka. 

   Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at noon for a service celebrating Beverley’s life.  There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until noon.  A private interment will take place by her first husband at Mound Cemetery.
