Carol Ann Kramer

Mar 15, 1948 – Aug 30, 2010

Kenosha- Carol Ann (nee: Vos) Kramer, 62, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 30, 2010. Carol was born in East Troy, WI on March 15, 1948 to the late Cecil and Elinor (nee: Sykes) Vos. She graduated from the Green Bay High School for Girls in 1966, where she was a member of the championship basketball team. Carol went to earn her nursing degree from Gateway Technical College. Passionate for helping others, she has been employed as nurse for Clairidge House in Kenosha for the past 16 years and, most recently, at Washington Manor.  Among her interests, she had an extensive Victorian knick-knack and cow collection, enjoyed crafts and was known to share her time with anyone who needed it. Born with a free spirit, Carol loved to have a good time and had a heart of gold. Surviving are her sons, David (Lisa) Vos of Racine and Robert (Stacey) Kramer of Genoa City; grandchildren, Katelynn Kramer, Nathan Kramer and Alexandria Vos; brothers and sisters, Lois (Jerry) Cramer, Ronald (Mary) Vos, Jerry Vos, Joan (Tim) Vos, Linda Eppers and Phillip Vos; former husband, Dave Kramer; best-friend, Joanne Mathias; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Vos; and brother-in-law, Pete Eppers. In accordance with Carol’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service celebrating Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11 am in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will begin in the funeral home on Saturday at 10 am.  In memory of Carol, share the gift of time with someone who is in need.

Testimonials

December 22, 2016

Thank you so much for your staff’s gentle, patient, and thorough management of my nephew’s memorial service yesterday. It was run to perfection, and we couldn’t be more pleased. From the beautiful slide show transitions to the quality audio system to the easels, pedestals and Kringle…all details were impeccable and appreciated.
