Catherine was united in marriage to the love of her life, Carl Olsson, on June 17, 1950, at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Buchanan, NY. Carl preceded her in death on December 19, 2003.

Catherine was an RN for various nursing homes during her career. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Catherine enjoyed watching the Brewers and Packers. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Catherine loved her family and friends dearly and enjoyed catching up with everyone on the phone.

Catherine is survived by her children, Karl Olsson, Kathleen Andreasen, Eric Olsson, Kristine Theodore, Mark (Suzanna) Olsson; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.

In addition to her parents and husband, Catherine is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Carroll; sons-in-law, Michael Andreasen, Theodore Theodore; and grandson, Leif Olsson.

A celebration of Catherine’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, 5:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road. The family would like to extend a “Thank You” to the staff at The Villa at Lincoln Park as well as the staff at Seasons Hospice for the care given to Catherine during this difficult time.
