Racine – Christopher Michael Dresen, age 36, passed away at Ascension All Saints Medical Center on Monday, April 15, 2024. Always helping others, even in death, Chris enhanced the lives of many with his selfless gift of vital organ donation on the afternoon he died.

The middle son of a triplet birth, Chris was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on July 26, 1987 to Robin and Ilda (nee: Renteria) Dresen. He was a 2006 graduate of William Horlick High School. On August 6, 2016, Chris was united in marriage with the love of his life, Jacklyn “JJ” Christiansen.

With a tireless work ethic, Chris worked two jobs: DHL as a lead and UPS as a loader. Gaming, deer hunting and fishing were a few of his hobbies. Above all, Chris was a loving & devoted husband, father, son & brother who loved spending time with all of his family.

Surviving are his wife, Jacklyn “JJ”; their children, Christopher Michael Dresen, Jr. (age 14), Ariana Skye Dresen (age 11) and Ava Rayne Dresen (age 4); mom & dad, Ilda and Robin Dresen; brothers, Joshua Dresen, Joseph (Taryn) Dresen and Bradley (Shawna) Dresen; JJ’s parents, Peter (Denean) Christiansen and Teresa (Rich Anderson) Christiansen; sister, Erin Christiansen; nieces & nephews, Noah, Liam, Aubree & Stella Dresen and Xhaivier Christiansen; God-son, Rudy Renteria; God-daughter, Meadow Ferraro; faithful canine & feline family companions, Colt & Lilly; many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends – too numerous to mention all by name. Chris was greeted in Heaven by his grandparents, Rodolfo & Sarah Renteria and James J. & Bernita Dresen.

Services celebrating Chris’ life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 12:00 noon in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his family for the benefit of his beautiful children.

Testimonials

December 18, 2024

Words cannot even begin to express the tremendous gratitude our family has for a team like the one at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home & Crematory. Thank you for the gentle lovely care over our mother Delia (Rosa) Balderas. Never having had a direct experience with a funeral home to this extent we didn’t know what to expect. We didn’t have a clue that they would step right in and have the most comforting team surrounding us that thought of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING for anyone in our position. It was very evident from the first discussion on the phone that they were already well prepared to handle every little detail for us that we weren’t even aware would be required. Mark and his team truly eased so much of the unknown worries right out of our path, and left room for us to just focus on the small personal details we wanted for our mom. It was nice to know that all cost involved was in black and white on their site as well as on paper at our first meeting. Leaving no room for question or doubt what so ever with any fee involved. It was truly a blessing to have everything written out so well and simplified with various price range options in a time that we needed crystal clear direction. Its been beautiful to see that their care and service didn’t stop after our mom’s service came to an end. They continue to be in communication with immediate responses as questions arise along the way. God bless Mark, and the entire compassionate team, to be around to guide many many more for generations to come through life’s most difficult times. You are all truly amazing.

Hilda Balderas
