Delores A. Lofquist

Feb 1, 1938 – Jun 30, 2012

     Delores Ann Lofquist, 74, passed away on June 30, 2012. She was born in Chicago, IL on February 1, 1938 the daughter of the late Charles and Ina (nee: Havernan) Stenman.

     On September 10, 1954 she was united in marriage to Carl H. Lofquist who preceded her in death on April 4, 2005. She was a quiet person who enjoyed baking, cooking, and spending time with her family. Delores was an animal lover. She enjoyed nothing better than being on the lake with her family and little dog, Peku.

     Surviving are her children, Barbara (Richard) Carlson, of Mukwonago, Charles Lofquist of Necedah, Sandra (John) Carlson, of Racine, and Deanna Benetti, of Orlando, FL; daughter-in-law, Cathy (Chris) Rider, of Burlington, WI; 13 grandchildren, Nicholas Mulvey, Rachel Carlson, Madeline Carlson, Joseph Lofquist, Angela Lofquist, Steven (Shannon) Lofquist, Tracee Lofquist, Matthew Carlson, Seth Carlson, Lauren Benetti, Alexandra Benetti, Natalie Benetti, and Sophia Benetti. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her. In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Delores was preceded in death by one of her twin sons, Carl N. Lofquist, sister June Lemke, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anna and Helge Lofquist, nephew, Thomas Lemke, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Roger and Elaine Lofquist.

     Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, July 5th at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Kara Baylor officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
