
MOUNT PLEASANT – Mr. Del Bredemann, 77, passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 4, 2012.
He was born in Lindsey, WI on July 11, 1935, the son of the late Albert and Emma (nee: Engelke) Bredemann. On July 27, 1962, he married Janice Tuma at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Del proudly served his nation with the U.S. Army while stationed in Korea. He owned and operated Del’s Linoleum and Carpeting for many years. During that time he developed many relationships and friendships with his customers. After the sale of his business he continued to work for Floortech under the new ownership. In addition to his flooring business, Del will be remembered for his vegetable garden and produce stands at his home and the local farmers’ markets. He also enjoyed attending Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, golfing, bowling and spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving wife, Jan of Mount Pleasant, Del is survived by his sons, Michael Bredemann of Snellville, GA, Greg (Kellie) Bredemann of Sugar Hill, GA; his daughter-in-law, Carol Bredemann of Mount Pleasant; his grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin, Linna Cate, Brooklyn, Jason Thomas “J.T.”; his brother and sisters, Charles (Sharon) Bredemann, Joyce Rasmussen both of Marshfield, WI, Ruth Fox of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; sisters-in-law, Joanne Bredemann of LaCrosse, Jean Bredemann and Violet Bredemann both of Marshfield; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to his parents, Del was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Bredemann and brothers, Lyle, Henry and Paul Bredemann.
Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday November 17, 2012 at NOON for a service honoring and celebrating Del’s life with Rev. Christine Thomas-Echelbarger officiating. There will be a visitation in the funeral home that day from 10:00am – 12:00 p.m. A private interment will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for his grandchildren’s education fund.

A wonderful man, friend and co-worker. I will always cherish my memories working with Del in the early Floortech days – good times, good stories and lots of laughs. There has been and will always be a special place in my heart for Del.
