Nov 19, 1959 – Feb 24, 2025

Service Details

Per Dee’s wishes, a formal service will not take place.

CALEDONIA – Diana “Dee” Y. Helbling, 65, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Monday, February 24, 2025 surrounded by family.

She was born in Racine on November 19, 1959, the daughter of the late Feliciano and Seledonia (nee Cruz) Ynocencio. She graduated from Washington Park High School. She worked 30 years in entertainment and customer service business.

Dee married Phillip J. Helbling on June 20, 1992.

She enjoyed yearly trips to Florida with her husband to spend time near the beaches and ocean, caring for her house plants, and mastering puzzles, playing a good card game with friends, and shooting pool often dominating the table. However, she was happiest in the company of her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Phil, Dee is survived by her son, Miguel (Cameron) Maldonado; her grandchildren, Michael, Marissa, Matthew, Markis, and Miguel “Cinco” Maldonado; many brothers and sisters in the Ynocencio family, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in the Helbling family; as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Dee was also preceded in death by five brothers.

Per Dee’s wishes, a formal service will not take place.
