Donald Raymond Kaebisch

Sep 7, 1944 – May 9, 2013

Racine – Donald Raymond Kaebisch, 68, passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha on Friday, May 10, 2013.  He was born in Racine on September 7, 1944, son of the late Edward and Pauline (nee: Riccardi) Kaebisch.  He was united in marriage to Sandra L. (nee: Martin) Kaebisch.

Don graduated from Nathan Hale High School and then received a degree from Gateway Technical College.  He was a police officer for the Racine Police Department and served our city for many years until his retirement.  Don loved riding motorcycles and snowmobiles.  Don also was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed spending time up north in the Crivitz area.  Don treasured his family and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

Don leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sandy Kaebisch of Racine; sons, Donn (Stacy) Kaebisch of Phoenix, AZ, Ronn Kaebisch of Racine; grandchildren, Laike Kaebisch and Cooper Kaebisch, also of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Kenneth (Gwendolyn) Kaebisch of Racine; sister, Judith (William) Wester of Germantown; nieces, nephews, and other relatives too numerous to mention.  In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Arlene Martin.

Services will be private (family invite only) per Don’s wishes.  Cremation will follow funeral services.

Big Don you will be greatly missed by all that knew you.

You and I will meet again,
    when we’re least expecting it.
One day in a far off place,
    I will recognize your face.
I won’t say good-bye my friend, for you and I will meet again.

    Love you Bro. Godspeed.

Testimonials

Sincere Gratitude

I can’t express my gratitude enough to Mike and the Draeger-Langendorf staff for such great service provided to us, as we made arrangements to lay our brother to rest. You all went above and beyond to make sure we understood every detail there was to know, from the greatest to the smallest. When we walked out of your office, we walked out with peace, knowing that our brother was in good hands. Thank you Mike for adding that special touch to my brother’s service, that’s the kind of stuff that separates you all from the rest. Once again Thank you so much.
