
Racine – Donald Raymond Kaebisch, 68, passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha on Friday, May 10, 2013. He was born in Racine on September 7, 1944, son of the late Edward and Pauline (nee: Riccardi) Kaebisch. He was united in marriage to Sandra L. (nee: Martin) Kaebisch.
Don graduated from Nathan Hale High School and then received a degree from Gateway Technical College. He was a police officer for the Racine Police Department and served our city for many years until his retirement. Don loved riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. Don also was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time up north in the Crivitz area. Don treasured his family and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Don leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sandy Kaebisch of Racine; sons, Donn (Stacy) Kaebisch of Phoenix, AZ, Ronn Kaebisch of Racine; grandchildren, Laike Kaebisch and Cooper Kaebisch, also of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Kenneth (Gwendolyn) Kaebisch of Racine; sister, Judith (William) Wester of Germantown; nieces, nephews, and other relatives too numerous to mention. In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Arlene Martin.
Services will be private (family invite only) per Don’s wishes. Cremation will follow funeral services.

I remember Don when he was on the Police Force, He would come into the DPW Garage and visit with Mike and me. He was alot of fun. Haven’t seen him since his retirement but will miss him. I thought of him often.
