Feb 13, 1936 – Aug 2, 2009

Racine – Donna Mae Salzman, 73, passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 2, 2009. She was born in Clark County, Wisconsin on February 13, 1936, daughter of the late Ernest and Evelyn (nee: Anderegg) Morse. On August 12, 1952 she was married to Daniel Arthur Salzman in Milwaukee. She had been a Racine resident for most of her life. Donna worked at Ametek-Lamb Electric for over 27 years, retiring in 2001. She liked to go RV camping with her husband Dan, and trips to the casino with her friends. Donna loved to cook for all of the family gatherings, and her desserts were treats looked forward to by many. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, grandchildren, and friends. Donna is survived by her husband, Dan; and their children, Daniel Salzman, Jr., Gene ( Sharon ) Salzman, Connie Davolos, and Bruce Salzman, all of Racine ; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Gingery; brother, Billy Jaeger; and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her son, James Salzman; granddaughter, Autumn; one great-granddaughter; and nephew, Brian Salzman. Complete funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2009 with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Memorials to All Saints Cancer Center have been suggested. Our family wishes to thank the staff of Wheaton Franciscan Hospice for their care and compassion, and especially to Donna’s nurses, Lori, Sherrie, and Mary. You are all angels in our eyes, and will be forever in our hearts
