Apr 15, 2010 – Jun 27, 2010

Racine- Faith Anastacia Torres, precious 2-month old daughter of Allicia Marie Barney and Samuel Avila Torres, Jr. born on April 15, 2010, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 27, 2010.

We will never forget you – our precious little child. We will always cherish memories, the love we shared and your smile. And you will be remembered each day, right from the start, as a special little angel who lives within our hearts.

Surviving are her broken-hearted parents, Allicia and Sam; twin sister, Grace Sari Torres; brothers and sisters, Samuel Torres III, Angel Ayala, Sanaya Torres and Ayden Castro; grandparents, Stacey Heinemann, Ernest Castro Sr., Samuel Torres Sr., and Anna Torres; great-grandparents, Diane Heinemann, Leonor Garza, Hortencia Avila and Manuel Avila; aunts and uncles, Connie Castro, Ernest (Desirea Hill) Castro Jr., Savannah Castro, Cassandra Castro, Jessica (Jeremy) Castro, Isaac (Amber) Castro, Manuel (Veronica) Torres, Samantha Torres and Raquel (Peter Mandujano) Torres; and many other treasured relatives too numerous to mention by name.

Faith was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Mario Garza, Pete Heinemann, Guadalupe and Maria Torres.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home with Faith’s great-uncles, Rev. Ruben Castanuela and Rev. Guadalupe Torres, officiating. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery – Kenosha. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday from 11 am – 1 pm.

“Those we have held in our arms for a little while….we hold in our hearts forever.”

The Family of Barbara Bell

Michael,

First, let me start out by saying you were a God sent working with me for many years in preparations for my mom’s Homegoing Celebration December 7, 2024. Even though this was our first time meeting in person, I felt like I already knew you. Michael, you demonstrated professionalism, empathy and, your warmth was surprising for me considering your role as a Funeral Director. Your attention to every detail, patient and support has made this process much easier for my family and me. I trusted you and you helped me find closure in a moment of great sadness, and for that we’re eternally grateful. I appreciate the time and energy you put into ensuring everything ran smoothly considering I reside in a different state. Michael, my mom would have loved you and our family is forever grateful for your unwavering dedication and support during our season of grief. May the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. (Numbers 6:25)
