RACINE – Faye L. (nee: Woods) Collier, 58, passed away at WFH- All Saints on Monday, August 6, 2012.
She was born in Racine on January 21, 1954 to the late Albert and Willie Lee (nee: Robinson) Woods, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, William Thurman; her children, Morris Woods, Cassandra Woods, Rickey Collier, Jr., Tavares Woods, Kay Thurman, Shayla Carey; her daughter-in-law, Felicia Cook; her grandchildren, Anthony Woods, Jaquan Smith, Deonta Woods, Shawnta Washington, Mahogney Collier, Kierra Woods, Shianne Woods, Sherman, Shanelle, Kantrell, Shamaria and Xavion Pierce, Tiara, Tanesha, Tamiya Davis and Jamari Carey; her great grandchildren, Jáleyah Smith, Alana and Alieha Williams; brothers and sister, Albert Woods, Jr., Larry Woods, Annette Woods; her aunt, Sarah Robinson; favorite nephew, Charles Barkley, Jr. and host of special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Woods.
Family and friends are invited to meet at All Nations Pentecostal Prayer House (1502 W. 6th St.) on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. for the celebration of Faye’s life and Homegoing. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. There will be a visitation in the church on Friday from 10-11 a.m.
