Garrett William Call

May 24, 1974 – Jan 23, 2011

Garrett W. Call, 36, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 as the result of a snowmobile accident.

Garrett worked in his family business at CMB Erectors, Inc. as an iron and sheet metal worker.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved life and was happiest when he was riding, skiing and biking.  He was also a loving and giving person.  In accordance, Garrett’s family has allowed the Wisconsin Tissue Bank to procure what they are able to in order for Garrett to help others in need.

In addition to his loving wife, Jessica, he is survived by his children, Nataleigh and Colin; his parents, Gary and Debby Call; sister, Jennifer (Michael) Drissel; nieces, Paige Kiesler and Bailey Drissel; maternal grandmother, Annette Wasik; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Nancy Drew, Sr.; brother-in-law, Bob Drew, Jr.; special cousins, Christina (Jason) Frank, Jared (Jessy) Paul; dear friends, Jon Rolain and Eric Betchkal; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers at CMB Erectors.  Garrett was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Stanley Cheske and Michael Wasik and maternal grandparents, Knute and Eileen Call.

Family and friends are invited to meet at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. for the celebration and thanksgiving of Garrett’s life with Rev. Jeffrey M. Thielen officiating.  There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. and on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.   A private interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park.   In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Tri-City National Bank – The Call's Kid's Fund.

Garrett, nothing will be the same without you.  We will miss you beyond words.  We know that you are snowmobiling, snowboarding, four wheeling, jet skiing, cycling, biking, playing soccer and basketball across the clouds in the sky.  “Ride, Bear, ride.”

Garrett was a wonderful young man that we were fortunate to get to know and love. He was always helpful, and went out of his way to help us, many times, but especially when we were repairing our pool.

It was great when he brought his family over to swim and party by the pool. We will miss Garrett, he was a very special husband, father and friend.

We will pray for Garrett, Jessica, Nataleigh, and Colin.

    Love Always,

    Robert and Kookie

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

Bill’s service was beautiful, beyond belief. Leslie was priceless in all she did. Gary, knowing Bill for many years, said a few words at the service. The special touched I didn’t expect warmed my heart. Two very, very special people helped make a sad day into something very special.

Thank you to all those that helped behind the scene, setting up, opening doors. My heart is full.

Bless you.

Helene Hellesen
