
Racine– Glen Thomas Jaskulske, Jr., 49, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Sunday, June 3, 2012.
Glen was born in Racine on May 11, 1963 to Glen T. and Valerie J. (nee: Gerber) Jaskulske, Sr. After attending JI Case High School, he went on to faithfully serve our Country as a Green Beret with the United States Army from 1979 – 1981. On April 16, 2009 he was united in marriage with Tammie Jean (nee: Boutell) Jaskulske.
Glen worked as a talented automobile mechanic throughout Racine until 1999, when he became employed as an environmental engineer with Racine Unified School District. Currently, Glen was an engineer at Gifford Elementary School serving as the SEIU Local #152 Engineer Steward.
Some of Glen’s interests, in which he will be remembered by, are: master of the grill, former Moose Lodge member, pizza, cooking, Green Bay Packer fan, Miller Lite, his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, having fun and making family/friends laugh. Above all, he will be remembered for his willingness to lend a helping hand and for never, ever turning his back to someone in need.
Surviving are his mother, Valerie Jaskulske; wife, Tammie Jaskulske; children, Crystal (Omar) Barron, Glen T. Jaskulske III; Adam, Amy and Andrew Jaskulske; step-children, Amelia and Oliver Cote; grandchildren, Cesar Jaskulske, Vicente Medina, Riley Jaskulske, Kennedy Ryan, Caleb Jaskulske and Lenox Barron; special aunt, Mary Lou (Leonard) Peden; dear niece and nephew, Andrea Jaskulske and Darin Grandberry; other beloved relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name. Glen was preceded in death by his father, Glen T. Jaskulske Sr.; and sister, Glenda (Sterling) Grandberry.
Funeral services celebrating Glen’s life will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 5 pm. Military honors will follow. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 3-5 pm. Private interment will take place in West Lawn Memorial Park.
