~~
Helen E. “Sandy” Mc Manaway, 74 passed away peacefully in All Saints Hospital, on Thursday, May 25, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.  Helen was born in Pueblo, CO on November 13, 1941 the daughter of the late Porfirio and Eufemia (nee: Metas) Sandoval.

They were lifelong residents of Racine. In recent years they divided their time between Racine and Palm Harbor, FL, where they made many new friends.
Helen was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, the Red Hatters, and the Y.M.C.A., where she enjoyed water aerobics.
Helen was the definition of amazing grace. She was a devoted wife to Pat and a loving mother.  Helen was known for her kindness, strength, and compassionate heart. She never met a stranger, and always lent a helping hand. Helen was devote in her faith. She will be missed for her strength and caring nature. Many thought of her as a “second mom”.
Helen was active in the Democratic Party and supported Pat throughout his many years with Local 180. For her tireless work, she was voted Mrs. Solidarity.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, of nearly 55 years, Pat; their three daughters, Diana (Kevin) Krause, Trisha (Ray Burby), and Suzanne Tracy; six grandsons, Austin (Marion) Burby, Alexander and Samuel Krause, Zachary, Jackson, and Jacob Tracy; great granddaughter, Ainsley Burby; sister, Irene (Rudy) Garcia; and brother, Michael Abeyta. Helen is further survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Sandy Sandoval.
Her Memorial Mass, with full military honors, will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 31st, at 6:00 p.m. in St. Edward Catholic Church, 15th and Grove Ave. with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of the mass with the Rosary being recited at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials to the Honor Flight Program

Dearest Auntie, You will forever be in my heart. I thank you for always being there for my Dad and Family. The years of worry that my Dad put you and Grandma through will never be forgotten. You were the rock that my Dad held onto. I will forever be in your debt. I will miss you dearly. Thank you for being there for me and my family. I love you.

Testimonials

May 22, 2019

We recently used Draeger-Langendorf’s services for my grandmothers funeral and we are so thankful for Mike and the rest of the staffs help. They made the whole process easy and never urged us to make a certain choice. They were very informative of how the service was going to go and always made sure we knew what was going on. To our surprise Mike Langendorf was there singing in the choir during the funeral and it really made us feel like he truly cared about us. Such a fantastic singing voice! Amazing people to have helping plan during a hard time, would highly recommend.
