His survivors include his children, Veronica Ward of Racine, Daina Jackson of Smyrna, GA; grandchildren; Talila Clark, Kimberly Walker Nakeyta Petty, Kaleb Jackson all of Georgia, Curtis Petty of Racine; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Earline (Hazell) Norman of Racine, Denise Larry of Milwaukee; sisters-in-law, Geneva Larry of Okolona, MS, Earline Larry of Racine; special nephew, Terry Gunn; as well as many dear, loving nieces, nephews and friends.  Jackie was also preceded in death by his sisters, Claudine Gunn, Ruthie “Boo Boo” Larry and brothers, George Larry and Willie F. Larry.

Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church (1120 Grand Ave.) on Tuesday, September 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. for the celebration of his Homegoing.  His interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.  There will be a visitation in the church on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m.

The Larry family wishes to thank Dr. James P. Gierahn, Lincoln Village Convalescent Center, the residents of St. Paul’s Gardens and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare for the love and professionalism extended to them before and after Jackie’s death.

October 22, 2015

I would like to thank Bob and the entire staff for helping me through a very difficult situation. Having lost my mother and having to plan her services was very hard but Bob helped me every step of the way. And the service was beautiful. Thanks again for everything.
