I met James one Karoake night at Dickys. We both had a love for country music. His friendly conversation and joking manner and laughter quickly put me at ease. We talked about hobbies and what things mattered to each one of us. This was when I found out how important family was to him. He loved his brothers and sisters as much as I loved mine. Some of my family members met him and found him as genuine as I did. He had dreams of giving his family the best life possible with love. Life is never easy and it’s trials are sometimes difficult. But James would continue to try. He saw his friends as friends and age and race didn’t matter if you were his friend. He remembered the sincerity of those who helped him and never ceased trying to repay in favors or helping. This is why he enjoyed helping at the Veterans Outreach. This was my friend James the James I was blessed to know. I will continue knowing that he shared a part of his life with me his friends and family and his love for others. God protect you James. You will be missed everyday by those who had the opportunity to meet you. Your friend Rey

Testimonials

June 24, 2020

Can’t thank Gary and you all enough for our fathers funeral arrangements (Victor Joseph Morris) June 18th, 2020.
He would have been SO proud. So many little personal details that we were not even expecting, totally overwhelmed us. From the pamphlets to the thank-you notes and copies of the video, to the beautiful casket picture and arrangement. Pop looked as proud as he was in life. And thanks also to the very cooperative and helpful staff. We thought it would take much longer to knock this all out at our one and only meeting with Gary. We did not want to overlook, or forget to give our heartfelt thanks for such wonderful service at such a horrible time in our lives.
God Bless,
Bob Morris
