Jarvis Jermaine Williams was born December 27, 1983, to the union of Elvis and Diane (nee: Oliver) Williams. Jarvis gained his wings on August 18, 2025, at the age of 41, surrounded by the love of his family at Ascension All Saints Hospital.
He received his formal education in the Racine Unified School District and graduated from Gateway Technical College. In his youth he was a member of Greater Grace Temple Church. He enjoyed singing in the children’s choir, he also served on the usher board and loved going on outings with the youth ministry. Jarvis played little league football and spent a lot time attending baseball games, with his father Elvis Sr. During his work career Jarvis worked at the City of Milwaukee, Kia dealership, Heavenly Touch, Walmart, and various foundries around the city. Jarvis enjoyed going camping and fishing with Uncle Pikey, a bond built on quiet mornings and shared stories. It was a passion close to his heart; one he lovingly tried to pass down to his children. He also had a passion for collecting baseball cards and rare coins. He found so much joy in family cookouts at his sister Angie’s and Aunt Marjorie’s homes where laughter filled the air and memories were made. Some of his most cherished moments were the deep, soulful conversations he shared with his Aunt Elaine about life, love and faith. He loved his family and was very protective of them. Jarvis easy-going personality drew others to him, and he easily made friends. He grew up around family and friends who loved him dearly, including special cousins, Tyrus Oliver, Chad and Dwayne Williams.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory, Mother Diane, sister, Angie and brother Elvis Williams Jr. His children Trey, Olivia, Jalen, Charlotte and Jarvis Jr. Uncles, Gary, Larry, Sam, and Michael Williams, Gregory, Michael and Vernard Oliver; Grandson, Adonis; Aunts Marjorie (Jesse) Andrews and Elaine Oliver, niece Adryana, nephews Shannon and Cairo. He was preceded in death by his father Elvis Lee Williams Sr., Maternal grandfather Roosevelt Oliver, Paternal grandparents, Lee and Mary Lou Williams, and Uncle Wayne Williams.
Jarvis Williams and his beloved grandmother Rebecca Oliver will be celebrated together in a joint homegoing service, a testament to their unbreakable bond in life and in spirit.

Diane, again I lift you up to God in prayer. Only today I found out about the transitions of your son, and your mom. Grief is a hard, hurting thing. Mother Oliver planted you on firm foundation. God can heal and comfort us even in our grief. Don’t let your faith waver and stay close to God in prayer. It may not feel like it, we go through storms in life it seems dark and dreary, but God will let the sunshine through the clouds again. I pray God give you and your family strength and peace. You are certainly in my prayers.
