Jeanette Augusta Killips, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Ridgewood Healthcare Center. Jeanette was born October 12, 1918 in Waukesha to the late George and Edna (nee: Erbach) Dahms. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the Lester Leroy Killips, and to this union seven children were born.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, four sons, Leroy Killips, Gordon Killips, Ronald (Gretchen) Killips , and David Killips; three daughters, Linda Killips, Sandra (Johnson) Killips, and Debra Killips; sister, Lois Edwards; brother, Raymond Dahms; all of Racine.. She is also survived by seven granddaughters; seven grandsons; 31 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Floyd, Edward, Robert, and Donnie Dahms; sisters, Ellen Anzizino, and Margaret Graser; and great-grandson David Ocacio.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 with Rev. Melvin Hargrove officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery immediately following the service.
