Oct 15, 1937 – Mar 16, 2010

Racine – Jeanette Marlene (nee: Kinner) Quinn, 72, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center on Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Jeanette was born in Phelps, WI on October 15, 1937 to the late Walter and Lillian (nee: Rosner) Kinner. She graduated from Phelps High School in 1956. Among her interests, she enjoyed working in her yard, especially planting flowers in the garden. Jeanette had a gift for keeping family members focused in life and was constantly worried about the well-being of others. Above all, she loved and cherished being in the surroundings of her entire family and circle of friends. Surviving are her loving husband of nearly 54 years and of whom affectionately called her “Snobie Bear”, Charles; their children, Stacy Kowalski of Georgia, Scott Quinn of Racine, and Stephanie Kapla of Florida; son-in-law, Jim Kapla; grandchildren, Toni and Tyler Kapla; sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Jack) Nelson, JoAnn Quinn and Georgene Quinn; special niece and nephews, Brian (fiancé-Diane) Quinn, Cindy (Jay) Warlock and Jim (Sandy) Quinn; and by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Clifford Quinn, Bernie Quinn and Herbert (Theresa) Quinn. A memorial service celebrating Jeanette’s life will be in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 4:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family in the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 pm. My parents told me of your kindness, generosity, and servitude when we lost my brother. They needed that strength and your light came through. Thank you.
