Jedidiah Sanford Lloyd

Nov 15, 2004 – Apr 2, 2012

Racine – Jedidiah Sanford Lloyd, age 7, affectionately known by everyone as “Jedi”, was born into Eternal Life on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

As a set of triplets, Jedidiah was born in Racine on November 15, 2004 to Jacquelyn Patricia Lloyd and Raymond Turner. Currently, Jedi was a proud and vibrant student at Wadewitz Elementary School.

Jedidiah was a passionate member of the Glorious Light Church of the Living God under the leadership of his adoptive grandfather, Rev. Bobby Vinson. With a sassy yet adorable personality, Jedi loved watching “Barney”; listening to the music of Cece Winans; soft blankets; and was particular about having quality high-count thread bedding. Above all, Jedi had an infectious smile that could light the darkest of rooms.

Surviving are his mother, Jacquelyn Lloyd; father, Raymond Turner; his triplet brothers, Emmanuel and Malachi Lloyd; other brothers and sisters, Damarion Turner, Ra’Shari Turner and Jarayah Turner; grandparents, Deborah Lloyd; James and Marian Santiago Lloyd; Linda Turner and adoptive grandparents, Rev. Bobby and Sherra Vinson; great-grandparents, Rev. Ralph W. and Mary E. Williams; Sallie Turner and Ida Mae Lloyd; aunties, Joshelyn (Aubrey) Anderson, Jasmine (Samuel) Crespo, Dominique Williams, Shani Stewart, Davina Santiago and Adina (Paul) Santiago; uncles, Romario Santiago Lloyd, Jerome Williams and Jamar Williams; great-aunties, Sandra (Phillip) Hill, Jacquelyn Strozierbey, Carolyn Williams, Mattie Lee Lloyd, Jessie Mae Bonilla, Mary Ann Billings, Mae Joyce Lloyd and Gloria Ann Lloyd; great-uncle, Johnny Lloyd; -special caregiver, sister and cousin, Judaea Bouwens; God-parents, Doris Mitchell; Sandra and Phillip Hill; Jasmine Crespo and Jason Vinson; and a host of other dear relatives and friends. Jedi was preceded in death by his uncle, Rosario James Santiago Lloyd.

A Celebration of Jedi’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 12:00 noon in Gregg Chapel, 2237 Howe Street, with Rev. Bobby Vinson officiating. A reception will follow. Visitation will be in the church on Saturday from 11 am – 12 noon.

A heartfelt note of thanks to Jedi’s tireless caregivers, Jason Vinson, Jamie Kahmanne, Titania Cabell and Deb Niesen, not only for their compassionate care, but for the immeasurable amount of love given to Jedi in his lifetime. May God bless all of you!

Testimonials

October 9, 2020

I would like to thank Mike Langendorf, Bill Althaus and the rest of the staff for the wonderful celebration of the life for my father Raymond L. Szymanski who was a WWII veteran. I especially appreciate how much you really listen and the questions you asked regarding who my father was and what he was all about. Those details showed up in every part of the service from the flowers, the music, the thank you’s, pictures, obituary, outdoor military honors, etc. etc. My father would have been so grateful for the way you honored his life. I also received phone calls from family and friends indicating how beautiful the service was in every way. You and your staff definitely go above and beyond. You treat everyone like family and your compassion is so genuine. There should be more people in the world just like all of you. No words can express our gratitude for all you have done for myself, my father and our family. Thank you so very much and may the Lord bless you and yours! Sincerely Terri Carls and the Szymanski Family
