
Jody D. Sharpe, 75, passed away suddenly in St. Catherine’s Medical Center, Kenosha, on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. She was born in Racine on September 7, 1935 the daughter of the late Henry P. and Doris (nee: Andreason) Lentz. On October 1, 1954, in Racine, she was united in marriage to Deane D. Sharpe. Her greatest loves were her family and friends. Jody also loved knitting, taking care of her pups, bird watching, and anything that had to do with nature. She enjoyed all types of music. Jody fondly remembered her month long trip to Samoa with her husband Deane. Surviving are her husband, of 56 years, Deane; their daughters, Sue A. Sharpe and her husband Alan Pinkerman, of Goodfield, IL, Debra Wrobel, of Kenosha, Gail Sharpe, of Racine, and Kerry Sharpe, of Whitewater; grandchildren, Isak (Kym) Wold, of Madison, WI, Melissa (Dean) Eckstrom, of Elkhorn, NE, Erik Pinkerman, of Goodfield, IL, Sara (Jeff) D’Addevio, of Burlington, VT, Nathan (Amanda) Wrobel, Laura (Bill Robinson) Wrobel, all of Kenosha, Jill Wrobel, of Milwaukee, and Natalie Slater, of Appleton; great grandchildren, Lyla Rose, Riley, Rilynn, and Julia Kate; brother, James (Joyce) Lentz, of Athelstane, WI. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her. In addition to her parents, Jody was preceded in death by her brother Sern Kai Lentz. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Monday, December 27th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Private burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.
