A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

 

John F. Barr of Racine, WI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on December 23, 2024.  He was 61 years old.

John was born August 31, 1963 at St. Franics Hospital in Evanston, IL, the son of William and Mary (nee: Harrington) Barr. John met the love of his life, Angela Globerger, with whom he happily spent the rest of his life.

John was a hardworking man and entrepreneur who loved his family unconditionally. John was about living life to the fullest. His laugh could be recognized by anyone that knew him and his smile lit up every room. His unparalleled work ethic is carried on by his son, Ryan Barr.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Barr; daughter, Mary (Dillon) Quick; son, Ryan (Ella) Barr; granddaughter, Maggie Quick; and many beloved siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary; sister, Julie Marie Barr; and cousin, Sheila Suangka Zirves.

    Not only was John my business partner he was my friend. My condolences to His family in these hard times. He was such a hard worker and provided so much for his family he will be missed by many. Til we meet again love bud

    Johnny was my best friend and more. Angie said he looked up to me as a father. I will be forever grateful to him for all of the things he did for me. Rest in peace my friend.

    Johnny was one helluva good guy. Your laughter was contagious. Thank you for giving my Dad pick of the litter for my first dog Buzz and for all the fun you helped make when I was a kid. Until we meet again, cheers my friend. You will be missed.
