John, JJ or sometimes “Killer” was the one who got me interested in the Navy. I met him at Howard Payne. College. He made it seem so glamorous and fun. Sure enough …the impression he left on me made me join the Navy and I too made a career of it. I think of you often my friend and Brother. May God’s light shine upon you. Rest easy…We have the Watch.
