John S. Zurawski Jr., 55, passed away unexpectedly at All Saints Hospital on January 4, 2015. He was born in Racine on June 29, 1959, the son of the late John and Lillian (nee: Johnson) Zurawski. John attended Case High School, and for the last 35 years was an employee of Jensen Metal Products. On September 10, 2009 he was united in marriage to Laura Jean Sorenson.
John enjoyed being outdoors whether that was lounging in the backyard and playing with his dogs; or fishing and hunting. He was a great father to his two sons, and together they enjoyed motocross racing. John was a hardworking man that could always be counted on when you needed him. John also enjoyed playing cards with friends, but most of all enjoyed being with his family.
John is survived by his wife Laura Zurawski of Franksville; his sons Timothy (Liz) Zurawski and Jason (Lindsay) Zurawski both of Mount Pleasant; step-children Jermaine (Jessica) Sorenson and Jazzmin Bryant both of Racine; grandchildren Timothy 'T.J.' and Lilianne Zurawski, Jordan and Jada Sorenson, and Jerimiah Bryant; sister Patricia (Eric) Olsen; brother David (Jeannie) Zurawski; and dear friend Cindy Allen of Racine. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Cathy McIntosh, Mary Geschke, and Josephine Davis.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 6pm on Friday, January 9, 2015, with Reverend Mark R. Jones officiating. Public visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Donations in his memory to the Wisconsin Humane Society have been suggested.

JF says
(Revelation 21:3, 4) With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
