Joseph was born in Racine on March 1, 1996 and attended JI Case High School. He was employed with several local companies, as a CNC operator. With a brilliant mind and free-spirt, Joe could often be found taking extremely long walks, was an American history buff, watched countless movies in which he could recite every actors name and date it was produced, had a photographic memory and was unbelievably knowledgeable regarding any topic at hand; he loved old school mobsters, his Irish heritage, basketball, children, his family and, above all, had a heart of gold who would do anything for anyone in need.

Surviving are his loving mom & step- dad, Nancy Rangel and Terry Gautsch; adored brothers, Andrew (Espie Garcia) Morales, Isaiah “Zay” McKellips and Abel Rangel ,Fabian Garay; two sisters Fiorela Garay and Fabiola Garay beloved nephews, Ricardo Morales, Yahir Rebollar-Garay, Xantiago Gonzalez-Garay, Joaquin Sanchez-Garay, and Octavio Sanchez- Garay; his “Mema” & “Papa”, Sally & Jim McKellips; aunts, Renee (Jose) Hernandez, Jamie McKellips, Crystal (Thereso) Gallo and Laurie McKellips (Junior) De La Cruz; his cousins Ayanna, Yesenia, Tito, Abbi, Haily,Brianna, Kenny, Chace, Andrea, Erika, Aaron, Landon, Ivanelis, Bella, Jelly, Danny, Alex, Isaac, Khloe, Sara, Aaliyah, Jade, Tony, and Alana. Bonus family: Anna Gautsch, Vickie Hackman, David (Allen) Gautsch and Glenn (Natalie) Gautsch and many other relatives, cousins and friends – too numerous to mention all by name.

Joseph was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, James and Louise McKellips, Nancy Brulport, Donald Beegle and his close friend, Jackie.

I just want to say I love you and you are my number 1 hero. You are a true inspiration to me. I have learned to be a better person because of you. Your smile was so contagious and your hugs were addicting. I always felt the love in both of those from you. Your kindness and always helpful will never go unnoticed. You will always live in my heart and soul.

    Hey jojo!

I was in the middle of school when I found this. Just about everything that has been said in this article is true just missing the unconditional love and care you had and the great smile you had. I’m happy to say that you have made me feel the happiest when I was at my lowest. When I felt that no one cared how I feeled and no cared about me. Seeing you on the stairs at memes everytime nust made me happy and I miss it more than anything I miss the long walks and talks we had about the most random things but that always made my day without a doubt and seeing you talking to everyone giving them the biggest smiles and laughs you always had the best jokes the best everything when I think of you one of the first memories that come up is when you were reenacting when Nancy was grabbing a bowl of beans that had just gotten dont in the microwave and as soon as she had it in her hands and up in the air she just start freaking out. And when you would leave us on the red thingy to go get “soda” but be gone for 5-10 minutes and come back with either big red, Pepsi and Mountain Dew but anyway I can’t explain how much I miss you and how many nights I have sat in my room just sitting there wondering why you how to go home so soon but I know you’re happy and safe miss you so much and I love you forever and always ❤

Testimonials

December 1, 2023

My siblings and I recently had the unfortunate experience of having to plan a funeral for our beloved mother – Juana Munoz. During this difficult time, we were fortunate enough to come across a funeral home that truly went above and beyond what was expected. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our comfort and safety throughout the entire process was truly remarkable. From the moment we stepped foot into the funeral home, we were greeted with warmth and compassion. The staff members, but specifically Mark was incredibly understanding and empathetic, making us feel at ease during such a challenging time. Mark took the time to listen to our needs and wishes, and his guidance and support were invaluable. One aspect that truly stood out was Mark’s meticulous attention to detail. He paid close attention to every aspect of the funeral arrangements, ensuring that nothing was overlooked. From the floral arrangements to the music selection, every detail was carefully considered and executed flawlessly. Mark even noticed that the temperature in the room was getting warm and promptly adjusted it to ensure our comfort. What impressed me the most was their commitment to our safety. Mark and his team took every precaution to ensure that our family and guests were protected throughout the entire process. From the funeral home to the cemetery, Mark made sure that all safety measures were in place, including providing hand sanitizers, and even arranging for additional staff members to assist with crowd control. Furthermore, Mark’s professionalism and organization was evident in every aspect of the funeral service. He coordinated seamlessly with the cemetery staff, ensuring a smooth transition from the funeral home to the final resting place. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence truly made a difference in our overall experience. In addition to their exceptional service, the funeral home also provided us with resources and support beyond the funeral itself. They offered grief counseling services and connected us with local support groups, which proved to be invaluable during our grieving process. Overall, we cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Mark, and broader, Draeger Langendorf team. Their attention to detail, commitment to our safety, and genuine compassion made a difficult time a little more bearable. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of funeral arrangements, as they truly go above and beyond to ensure that every detail is taken care of and that families are supported throughout . the entire process. – Epifanio and The Munoz Family
