
~~ Joy B. Robinson, 76, passed away, after a long illness, on Monday, June 29, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Joy was born in Plymouth, WI on March 10, 1939, the daughter of the late Roy and Mary (nee: Breitung) Williamson.
She graduated from Plymouth High School in1957. On June 2, 1973, here in Racine, she was united in marriage to Edward A. Robinson. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2008. In her early years she was a member of Job’s Daughters. Joy was very artistically inclined. Together with her husband Edward, they enjoyed woodworking. He did the building and she added her artwork. To Joy, family was the most important thing in life.
Surviving are her children, Julie A. Hansen, of Racine, David J. Voigt, of Plymouth, James A. (Patty) Voigt, of Glenbuelah, WI, Linda (Dan) Stachow; and her great grandaughter,, of Racine; grandchildren, Tyler J. (Tiffany) Voigt, of Roanoke, VA, Jacob Voigt, of Waldo, WI, Melissa A. (Armando) Martinez, and William R Stachow; and her great granddaughter, the sunshie of her life, Rosa, all of Racine. In Addition to her parents and beloved husband, Joy was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Williamson.
Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, July 2nd; at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the Service. Private burial will be in Mound Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials to the American Diabetes Association or the American Kidney Foundation.

Your mom and I have been best friends since we were 8 years old.I just wish I could have gotten to see her last summer when we had talked about us coming down but my health has not been that good.Just please know I Loved her]
