Juan Manuel Ramirez

~~    Juan Manuel Ramirez, 54, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Corpus Christi, TX on September 9, 1959, the son of the late Feliciano and Albina (nee: Zuniga) Ramirez.
    Juan attended Case High School and proudly served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps.  He had been employed by various manufacturers in the Racine Area, including Jacobson Textron and Warren Packaging.  Juan was also a former member of Cristo Rey Parish and St. Lucy Catholic Church. 
He always enjoyed cooking for his family and friends.  In addition, Juan was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and fisherman.
He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be best remembered for his love for his family.  Juan will be dearly missed.  Surviving are his children, Erik (Gwen Langdon) Ramirez, of Racine, Jamie (Adam) Vanderleest, of Franklin, Juan (Melissa) Ramirez, and Randy Ramirez, all of Racine; 5 grandchildren, Shaelyn, Isabella, Paige, Sophia, and Quinn; 8 brothers and sisters, including his very special sister, Sandra (Bill Flatley) Anchondo, San Juanita Ortega, Felix (Diane) Ramirez Jr., Joce (Kelly Coey) Ramirez, all of Racine, Rajelio (Beckie) Ramirez, of Sturtevant, Maria (Jeff Madson) Fitz, of Andover, MN, Victor (Greta) Ramirez, of Racine, and Irma (Phillip Carrion) Perales, of Tucson, AZ.  He is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.  In addition to his parents, Juan was preceded in death by his nephew Antonio Ramirez.
     His funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, August 8th at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Private burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
