June LaDoris Leinberger

Jun 25, 1920 – Mar 20, 2012

Racine – June LaDoris (nee: Reth) Leinberger, 91, received the promise of eternal life on Tuesday, March 20, 2012.  She was born in Racine on June 25, 1920, daughter of the late Fred and Luella (nee: Kissner) Reth.

June was united in marriage to the love of her life, Konrad Leinberger, in Waukegan, IL, on January 31, 1946.  Konrad preceded her in death on August 24, 1983.  She enjoyed all kinds of crafts including crocheting.  June’s family was number one in her life.  She was always there for anyone who needed help or just to talk.  June loved to cook for her family especially when everyone was together.  She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

June leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Dennis Leinberger, Donna (Richard) Evans, both of Racine; grandchildren, Sheri, Sondra, Vicki, Nicole, Russelle, Sunshine, Heather; 24 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Reth, Ronald (Dee) Reth, both of Racine; and other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.  In addition to her parents and husband, June is preceded in death by her sister, Laverne Jorgensen; brother, Erland Reth; and great-granddaughter, Mercedes.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 26, 2012, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road, from 5pm until 7pm.  Her funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, 11am, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 510 Kewaunee Street, with Rev. Daniel R. Feldscher officiating.  Visitation will be from 10am until the time of the service.    Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family.

Our sincere sympathy to you all. Our daughter Julie Arndt lives in Sturtevant and mentioned that June Leinberger passed away, so we are wondering if Konrad Leinberger is a relative? My father Louis Leinberger came from Canada & lived in Muskatine, Iowa before moving to Milw. Would be interested in hearing from you. Sincerely, Allen Leinberger
