She married Nick Clever in 2007 and together they operated a vineyard in northern California.  He preceded her in death a few years later.

Karen is survived by her dog, Marshmallow who was the love and joy of her life; her sisters and brothers, Mary (Dave) Gobis of Racine, Tom (Diane) Kosterman of Waupaca, Judy (John) Melcher, Albert (Vicki) Kosterman, Jr., Jim (Debbie) Kosterman all of Racine, Richard (Cathy) Kosterman of Caledonia and Betty (Don) Kusserow of Wild Rose; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.    Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. for a service remembering and celebrating Karen’s life with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating.  There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family for a fund to be established in Karen’s name at a later date.

I lost my parents withing two years of each other and Mike and his staff not only took very good care of my parents but the family. It is very obvious that they take their jobs very seriously. I don\’t know how they do it but thank God for people like them. Thanks for everything! Mike thank you! You made this easier for me. Remember me and mother was like a married couple!
