Lester B. Flowers

vet
Jul 28, 1958 – Oct 7, 2013

Racine – Lester Bradley Flowers, age 55, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, October 7, 2013.

Lester was born in Racine on July 28, 1958 to William L. Culp and Sharon E. (nee: Flowers) Smith. He was a graduate of William Horlick High School. Lester faithfully served our Country with the United States Marine Corps – serving overseas and in Hawaii.

Surviving are his mother, Sharon Smith; sisters, Aaisha (Thomas) Flint, Bridgette (Henry) White,    Kelly (Frank) Sensabaugh and Michelle Hudson; brothers, David E. Smith and Ashley Culp; uncle, Timothy Dumas; special friend of many years, Catherine Morris; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and an extensive circle of friends – too numerous to mention all by name. He will be sadly missed by all.

Lester was preceded in death by his fathers, William Culp and O’Dale Flowers; mother, Gloria Flowers; sister, Cheryl Flowers-Walker; brother, Michael D. Flowers; and uncles, Ronald and Gordon Flowers.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held in Wayman AME Church, 424 N. Memorial Drive, on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 12 noon. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be in the church on Monday from 11 am – 12 noon.

I wanted to express my thanks to Mike for everything he did to make things go as smooth as possible. My mother looked beautiful right down to the little details. Thank-you
