Mario G. Firas

Oct 25, 1973 – Jul 28, 2012

    Mario G. Frias, 38, died unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, July 28, 2012. He was born in Racine on October 25, 1973, the son of Guadalupe and Erlinda (nee: Saldana) Frias.  Mario was an avid fisherman and enjoyed all types of music.

     Mario is survived by his son, Mario Jr.; brothers, Israel Saldana, and Ismael Lopez; sister, Isabel Jimenez; nephews, Cisco, Omar, Luis, and Lucas; aunts, Lucia Rodriguez and Maria Saldana; uncle, Guadalupe Saldana, and his former wife Ericka Espinoza. A host of other relatives and numerous friends also survive him. Mario was preceded in death by his parents.

    A memorial service celebrating his life will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, August 2nd at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Samuel Pena officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be with his mother in Holy Cross Cemetery Hwy 32. In lieu of flowers contributions have been suggested to the family to establish a living memorial at a later date.
