Marion J. Noe

Jun 12, 1930 – Nov 16, 2011

Racine – Marion J. Noe, 81, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, with her daughter Linda, and grandchildren Carrie, Candice, and Christy at her side. Marion was born in Racine on June 12, 1930, daughter of the late Carlton and Mildred (nee: Peek) Parrish.

Marion was proud to be a mom and homemaker. Her family was always her first priority, and was willing to do anything for them. Cooking and baking were favorite pastimes that she enjoyed, as well as knitting, listening to Country Western music, and watching reruns of the Golden Girls on TV. She was formerly a member of St. Richard’s Catholic Church.

Marion is survived by her children, , Linda (Keith) Larrabee of Racine, Nancy (Jose) Sabala of Texas, Julie Long of Texas; Daniel (Susie) Noe of Milwaukee, former daughter-in-law, Kris Noe of Racine; grandchildren, Carrie, and Christy Larrabee, Candice (Dominic) Anzalone, Becky, Janet, Pedro, Crystal, Ricky, Sara, Jacob, Jeremiah, and Elijah Sabala, Janet and Jessica Long, Jennifer, Daniel Jr., Michael, Robert, and Jonathon Noe; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Richard Steel) and  Richard Parrish; sisters, Patricia Parrish of Kenosha, and Sharon Parrish in Colorado; sisters-in-law, Ann Parrish of Racine, and Betty Parrish in Indiana; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ronald and Harold Parrish.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 28, 2011 in the funeral home with Rev. Ron Gramza officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin Monday morning at 10am.  Memorials to the Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Association have been suggested.

Marion’s family would like to thank the nursing staff and activities department of Ridgewood Care Center for their compassionate care with Marion.

It was truly a blessing to have everything written out so well and simplified with various price range options in a time that we needed crystal clear direction. Its been beautiful to see that their care and service didn’t stop after our mom’s service came to an end. They continue to be in communication with immediate responses as questions arise along the way. God bless Mark, and the entire compassionate team, to be around to guide many many more for generations to come through life’s most difficult times. You are all truly amazing.
