Marion M. Wilson

May 21, 1927 – Apr 11, 2010

Mrs. Marion M. Wilson, 82, died at Harmony Commons on Sunday, April 11, 2010.

  She was born in Racine on May 21, 1927, the daughter of the late Victor and Alta (nee: Schemmel) Andersen. On June 26, 1948, she married Harry A. Wilson. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1997.

  Marion worked for Oster Manufacturing and Dumore Corporation. She enjoyed volunteering for Toys for Tots, watching/listening to Brewers games and working on jigsaw puzzles.

  Her survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Lisa Wilson; grandsons, Aaron Wilson (Natalie Haselwood), and Bryan (Amy) Wilson and great-grandchildren Donovan and Emilie. A third great-granddaughter (Khylie) is expected this week. Also surviving is her brother, Carl (Betty) Andersen of Stoughton WI; sister-in-law, Sheila Andersen of Oregon WI, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Marion was preceded in death by her step-mother, Esther (nee: Fuller) Andersen; her brother, Richard Andersen and sister, Doris (Chuck) Paris.

  Family and friends are invited to meet at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. for the celebration of Marion’s life and funeral with Rev. Richard Ferrell officiating. There will be a visitation from 9-11 a.m. A private burial will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park.
