
Racine – Marjorie “Marge” Jean (nee: Bolter) Kemen, 73, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. A lifetime resident, Marjorie was born in Racine on August 20, 1936 to the late Rodger and Grace (nee: Medhurst) Bolter. On October 29, 1955 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, she was united in marriage with Michael Charles Kemen. Marge was employed by St. Mary’s Medical Center, retiring as a heart monitor technician after 32 years of service. She loved, nothing more than, being in the surroundings of her entire family. Surviving are her loving husband, Michael; daughters, Linda C. (William) Baker, Cinda M. (Andrew) Emmrich and BeLinda L. (Ernest) Salinas; son, Michael A. (Margaret) Kemen, all of Racine; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Chester Bolter and Rodger (Wendy) Bolter; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Walter) Melik and Laura Bolter; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Bolter; sister, Beverly Leonard; and sisters-in-law, Connie Aabye and Lois Bolter. A service celebrating Marge’s life will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Chuck Wasik officiating. A reception will follow. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 11 am – 1 pm. Private entombment will take place at S. WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
