Michael Georgievski was born July 15, 1962 in Resen, N. Macedonia, his father Ilija Georgievski(late) and His Mother Marika Georgievski, and sister Suzana came to Racine, Wisconsin for a better life in the late 1960s. Michael is survived by his Mother Marika Georgievski, sister Suzy Georgievski-Vucicevic, husband Dusan Vucicevic, Michaels Fiancé Maria Arjmand and her children, Michael, Matthew, Marcella and husband Chuck, grandson C.J., and Michael’s children, son Alexander, wife Tijana their children Stefan, Luka, and Marco, and Michaels daughter Alexandra, her husband and children, and Michaels son Jason, wife Stacey and children Jossyln, Jillian and Cade, Aunts Draga, Aunt Sana, Aunt Para, Aunt Mara, Aunt Mary, Uncle George, SimeSime and cousins Pete, Paulina, Sneze, Tomce, Vesna, Blagojce, Lilly, Tony, nieces and nephews and Kumove and all their grandchildren, many cousins, Godsister Joanne Reed and her family, as well as a host of  friends too numerous to mention by name.

With great sadness he passed away on January 3, 2021 in his Fiancé Maria’s arms,, due to heart failure.

The way he died is just like he lived: he wrote his own rules, and he paved his own way. And if you said he couldn’t do it; he would make sure he could. He was full of friends and family, From the age of 14 he learned to play drums and his Father Ilija played the accordion and clarinet and started a Macedonian band, and also his son Alexandar has the same gift and passion and loves playing the drums professionally.

He was loved by everyone in his Management Career at Handi Foil for over 21 years with an intelligent, impish smile, love for the spoken word, irreverent sense of humor, and stunning brown eyes that could make anyone fall in love with him.

As much as people knew hanging out with him would end in a night in jail or a killer screwdriver hangover, he was the type of man that people would drive 16 hours at the drop of a dime to come see.

He lived 1000 years in the 58 calendar years we had with him because he attacked life; he grabbed it and took it to overdrive at every opportunity he had.

He didn’t slow down, he always loved buying the latest phone or computer or the latest techy gadget and anything to do with electronics or Physics. Michael had brought his son Jason to work with him for half of a year, because Jason had also passion for electronics like his Dad, many times they would share their lunch. Michael was so brilliant at his job (Sr. Technical Engineering) and Maintenance Manager for over 20 years and helped with designing the machines for the new Hani-Foil Plants. He was an adventurist, gameslayer. Throughout his life, he was  an accomplished hunter and loved his friends at the Club, he loved being an outdoorsman and camping, bow shooting, karate, boater, fisher man, he loved his motorcycles and racing motorcycles ,fast cars, exotic cars, he loved his Porsche, jet skiing, but his favorite was being in the warm sandy beaches and gulf waters in Florida to fish and teach admirers how to fish, his dream was to retire in Florida, with his Family and be close with the whole family in Florida, we were a very close Family. He was so caring for everyone and called his Mom and sister just to check on them, and if to see if anything was needed. He was a True Angel to everyone he met, and he had a heart of GOLD. He wanted to make sure his Mother would retire along with him and Maria in Florida. His sister Suzy was also inseparable with his brother Michael. Michael’s other LOVE OF LIFE was singing and dancing his favorite was Macedonian Music, and Folklore dancing, he was so talented with Karaoke with his Fiancé Maria, also he loved spending time with all of his best friends going to ethnic picnics or dances, with Bobby, Rudy, Joe and Yanni.

Michael was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important — the simplicity of living a life with those you love.

Although he threw some of the most memorable parties during the greater half of a century, he could trade it all for a night with his family. His acute awareness of the importance of a life lived with the ones you love over any material possession.

Michael enjoyed all the Macedonian foods, Lamb, Sarma, Cevapi, grilled peppers, Bulgarian cheeses, prosciutto, Burek with meat and Crab legs. Michael also loved to be the Chef in the kitchen and make his Famous Crepes, or his stuffed peppers, but no one could out do his gourmet BBQ shish-ke-bob. He always loved to cook something new for his family to enjoy. That probably comes from growing up in Restaurant family business since he was 9 years old.

Of all the people he touched, his most proud achievement who supported him in all his glory during his heyday, and lovingly supported him physically during their last days together was his Fiancé Maria Arjmand, who he loved very much along with all her children and grandson.

I know Mike for 4 years . He was exceptional work colleague. It was so pleasant to work with him. He really had a way with people. Everyone loved him.
Mike was both a valued colleague and a true friend. He was the kindest person you could ever meet . He always went the extra mile to help you, and he had a real sixth sense about when you need it.
I know I’ll miss him every day .

I met Mike many years ago. He introduced me to my husband who was also his cousin and we became family. We lost touch with him when he moved to Chicago. But we thought of him often. He was truly a great man. To Marika and Suzi and his children we are so very sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Testimonials

February 20, 2019

Mike and his team did a fabulous job with the memorial service for our Mom. It was perfect and he made the process easy for me to go through during such a difficult time. She had chosen the funeral home before hand, and she made the right choice. The service was beautiful, simple, and sweet. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
