Mar 1, 1942 – Dec 27, 2015

STURTEVANT – Mrs. Patricia Ann Footit, 73, passed away at Primrose Retirement Community on Sunday, December 27, 2015.

She was born in Mauston, WI on March 1, 1942, the daughter of the late Leo and Marietta (nee: Geier) Jurkowski.  On June 15, 1958 she married Raymond Footit, Jr.  They moved to Sturtevant in 1963.  Ray preceded her in death on May 14, 2011.

Pat worked for Ruud Lighting for 20 years. Although she enjoyed her time there, she was happiest raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was also a crafter, devoting much of her free time sewing and woodworking.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Julie (Darrell) Reynolds of Mount Pleasant; her sons, Randy (Kris) Footit of Wisconsin Dells, Ryan (Michael Propes) Footit of Nashville; her grandchildren, Logan (Sylvie) Reynolds of Portland, OR, Malary Reynolds of Mount Pleasant, Gracelyn Footit of Wisconsin Dells, Cole and Emmalyn Footit of Racine; her brother, Leo (Mary) Jurkowski of Wisconsin Dells, her sister, Molly Pudelko of LaValle, WI; her mother-in-law, Betty Footit of Montello, WI; her sisters-in-law, Nan Pozel of Racine, Sharon (Sonny) Nemitz of Oxford, WI, Floy Calogero of Atlanta; as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Raymond Footit, Sr.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Sunday, January 3, 2016 for a visitation from 1-3 p.m.  A service honoring and remembering Pat’s life will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Krista Zimmerman officiating.  A private interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park.

Pat’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to both Hospice Alliance and Primrose Retirement Community for the loving care and support that was provided to her.

Julie and family, I just heard after 9pm this evening about your Mom. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I would have paid my respects had I known earlier. Having lost both my parents I am keenly aware of the hole it creates in your heart. I hope the acuteness of the pain subsides and gives way to wonderful memories as soon as possible. You are all in my thoughts.

    Julie & family,
I just found out about your loss after 9pm this evening. I would have come to give you a hug in person had I known earlier. I am truly sorry for the sadness I know you are feeling. Having lost both of my parents I know the hole in your hearts this leaves. I hope the acuteness of this pain gives way to wonderful memories of your loved one more each day as time passes. You are in my thoughts.

My family picked Draeger , for our Dad, because they did such a wonderful job for my sister and brother in law. I don’t even have the right language skills to tell you how wonderful and compassionate Gary was to our family! He thought of every detail and made it so affordable but yet OUTSTANDING quality! I just can’t say enough about the whole entire process! Thank you Gary! Warren Williams officiated the service and he couldn’t of done a better , more sincere job! Thank you again, Gary!
