Sturtevant – Patricia Ann (nee: Hanko) Klinkhammer, 72, passed away peacefully at Hospice Alliance – Hospice House in Kenosha on Monday, August 20, 2012 after a brave battle with a brain tumor…in which she was diagnosed with this past March.
Patricia was born in Racine on July 6, 1940 to the late Edward and Joan (nee: Pettavino) Hanko. She was a 1957 graduate of Washington Park High School. Shortly after, on October 25, 1958 she was united in marriage with John Klinkhammer.
Pat was employed by Towne Ford automobile dealership as the office manager for over 20 years, retiring in 2005. In her spare time, she enjoyed golfing. However, her only passion in life was her children and grandchildren. Pat loved and cherished being in the surroundings of her entire family.
Surviving are her loving husband of nearly 54 years, John, their sons, Brian (Chris), Jeff (Renee) and Rick (Debby) Klinkhammer; treasured grandchildren, Amy, Austin, Lynsie, Aleea and Cody Klinkhammer; adored sister, Jayne (Erv) Titskowski; sister-in-law, Carol (Doug) Phillips; brother-in-law, Roger (Diane) Klinkhammer; other special relatives and friends – too numerous to mention by name.
In accordance with Pat’s wishes, cremation will take place. Memorial services celebrating her life will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 11:00 am with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 9-11 am. Private interment will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
A heartfelt note of thanks to the entire staffs of Aurora – St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee and Hospice Alliance in Kenosha for the compassionate care; and to Pat’s faithful friends of the Washington Park Golf Course Tuesday Girls League for their continued support and faithful dedication in Pat’s time of need. .May God bless all of you!
