Rebeca A. Garcia

Apr 6, 1928 – May 31, 2012

   Mrs. Rebeca A. Garcia, 84, passed away at her residence on Thursday, May 31, 2012.

   She was born in Veracruz, Mexico on April 6, 1928, the daughter of the late Juan and Carmen (nee: Castillo) Aguilar.  She was united in marriage with Odilon Garcia, Sr. He preceded her in death on October 8, 1986.

   Mrs. Garcia attended Mass at Cristo Rey Parish.  She cherished tending her rose garden, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. 

  She is survived by her son Odie (Diane Hall) Garcia of Racine; her sister, Barbara Meza Castillo, brother, Agapito Rodriguez both of Mexico; sisters-in-law, Hope Garcia of Racine, Irma Muniz of Houston, TX; nephew and nieces, Raymundo Garcia, Jr. of Racine, Mary Esther (Joe) Gonzales of San Antonio, TX, Sylvia (Bob) Rosko of Kenosha, Claudia (P.J) Awan (also a Goddaughter) and Godson, Tony Sanchez both of Racine; as well as many other nieces, nephews and relatives.  In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Garcia was also preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

   Family and friends are invited to meet at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. for the celebration of her life with Rev. Anthony Thomas officiating.   Her interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Caledonia.  There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Friday from 10-11 a.m.
