Richard Lee Bizzle

May 26, 1946 – Jul 12, 2013

Richard L. Bizzle was born on May 26, 1946 to the union of M.Z. & Lula Mae (Nee: Cole)  Bizzle in Biloxi, Mississippi.  He accepted Christ as his savior at an early age and was united with First Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithfully until relocating to Racine, Wisconsin.  Richard received his formal education at William Horlick High School in Racine.  While in High School he really excelled in sports, he ran track, competed in wrestling and played on the football team.

Richard Lee Bizzle departed this life on Friday, July 12, 2013.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents, brother; Oscar J. Edmondson, granddaughter; Nicole R. Bizzle, grandsons; Michael J. Bizzle, Darius J. Harlan and Daughter in law Catris Hill-Bizzle.

He leaves to cherish his memory one sister; Dorothy (Timothy) Bowie of Bolingbrook, IL, his four children; Crystal and Richard “Ricky” Lee Bizzle Jr. along with their mother Dorothy Bizzle all of Racine, WI, Yolanda (Justin) Cobb of Racine, WI and Ricardo Jenkins of Atlanta, GA, ten grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, three aunts; Merida Kirk-Griffie of Racine, WI, Nancy P. Cole of Hattiesburg, MS and Louella L. Price of Racine, WI, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other loving relatives and friends.  Richard will be loved and missed by all who knew and loved him. 

A celebration of Richard’s life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at United Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 1327 Blake Ave.  Funeral will begin at 12:00 noon.  Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of service.  Rev. Gregory Daniels will be officiating.
