Thought you would outlive me since our paths crossed in 2008, but I guess it wasn’t so. You made a huge impact in my life and I can’t believe I won’t be seeing you anymore. It’s been a good run and you will be missed, my friend.

Ricky, you were one of my nephews I really enjoyed being around, we had our ups and downs but you were still my nephew Ricky, you’re going to be missed and I don’t understand why you left us at such a young age, God was waiting for you and I’ll meet you again someday, dance in heaven with the angels and Grandma and Grandpa Jarstad, and keep watching over us. I will always miss you , I will never ever forget you. You were truly one of a kind and I love that in you sleep on nephew, you need your rest and I will see you again soon.

Heaven gained two angels on this day: My grandmother in 1997 and Ricky in 2021. May you two souls meet and share your passion for righteousness.

Ricky was a true friend. He cared about people, tirelessly collecting and distributing clothes and food. He was intelligent and honest, and would have been a fantastic Alderman, but was soundly defeated. This reflects on Racine, not Ricky.

Ricky, its still unbelievable that you are gone. I still sit here and wonder why. It just dont make sense. You are an amazing brother, and are so good with the kids, always pulling some kind of crap like a jokester. Me and mom will make sure they never forget you. I called you just to vent or complain about stuff at work, or home things. Now I cant do that, it just goes to voicemail. Its hard to believe that my brother; my only sibling is no longer here. Im miss you so much and I know you are looking down on us. We all love you and that will never change. R.I.P.
