Ronald J. Mudrak

vet
Nov 21, 1933 – May 29, 2013

Ronald J. Mudrak, 79, left this life to join the love of his life, Patricia, on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Ron was born in Marinette, WI on November 21, 1933, the son of the late John and Mamie (nee: McGregor) Mudrak.

He served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. On December 5, 1959, he was united in marriage to the former Patricia Vanden Branden, who preceded him in death on February 16, 2013. He was employed by A.M.C. Chrysler for over 30 years, and a member of the U.A.W. Local # 72 and the Chrysler 20 Year Club. Ron was a very good bowler and bowled on multiple leagues. He enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage with his dad and uncle, George.  Ron liked the outdoors; he spent countless hours working in his vegetable garden and had a special place for birds and squirrels. He even stocked a jar of peanuts for them. He was a jokester and could always make people laugh; he particularly enjoyed picking on his granddaughter, even after she grew up. Ron liked building things and often tinkered with various projects with his grandson. He was always ready to help.

Surviving are his sons, Steven (Diane) Mudrak, and John Mudrak, grandchildren, Jay (Amanda) Mudrak, and Janet (Matt) Carpino, great grandchildren, Lucy and Samuel Mudrak and Jameson Carpino, all of Racine. In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Patricia, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, George Mudrak.

His funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 3rd, at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Private burial service will be held in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery

Testimonials

David Fleury

Mike,
Words cannot adequately convey our gratitude for all you did to honor our family member and friend, Mert Fleury. Like with her husband Ray, years ago, you and your staff went above and beyond to help us through this difficult time and to give Mert a wonderful celebration of her life. Every detail was considered, all of our requests were given unfailing attention, and the little extras took our breath away. Every sad feeling and every tear was matched two-fold with feelings of gratitude and comfort because of what you did. We will be forever grateful!
The Fleury Family
